At Wolf Peak Outdoors, our mission is to connect trail runners and outdoor enthusiasts to the beauty, challenge, and camaraderie of the natural world. We organize memorable group running adventures, host our annual Flatrock Trail Run, and actively volunteer at local races to support the broader trail running community. Our goal is to inspire adventure, foster community, and encourage everyone to explore trails safely and joyfully. Through shared experiences, scenic runs, and meaningful contributions, we celebrate personal growth, teamwork, and the joy of running in nature.

Hi! I'm Ash Walsh
I am the founder and owner of Wolf Peak Outdoors! I've been a trail and ultra junkie since 2009. Trails have shaped my life in countless ways, and now I want to share that love with others. Wolf Peak Outdoors is about building a community of trail lovers who inspire each other, explore together, and celebrate the freedom of life outdoors. Through group runs, trail events, and shared experiences, I hope people discover a passion for trails, connect with like-minded adventurers, and fall in love with the outdoors.
I also want my community to make a difference. I’m committed to supporting two causes close to my heart: getting teens outside and helping women in need regain confidence and strength. None of this would be possible without my amazing husband Dan, our kids, and our incredible community. I’m deeply grateful for their support, and yours!
What's with the name?
Wolf Peak Outdoors is more than a name. “Wolf” embodies independence, loyalty, and an untamed spirit. “Peak” represents the summits we strive for, both on trails and in life. “Outdoors” is where we feel most alive, most connected, and most free.
Together, Wolf Peak Outdoors is a declaration: a commitment to adventure, to nature, and to community. It’s a space where passion meets purpose, every trail carries meaning, and every summit is a reminder of what we can achieve together.
