About the event
This route is a fun & mostly runnable route that begins and ends at a gorgeous set of lesser known waterfalls, Blue Hole & High Shoals, with Tray Mountain & the Appalachian Trail featured along the way.
There are two options for joining in the fun today. One is a long run (9-10miles) & the other is only visiting the waterfalls, which is only 2 miles but is a great adventure by itself!
We will begin the long run at 8:30am sharp, and we anticipate returning to the trailhead to begin the waterfall portion at 11:30am. Note that the High Shoals trailhead is located on a bumpy forest service road, and you must cross a tiny creek to reach it.
