Join the crew for a fun day in North Georgia!
Our second mountain adventure is an 8 mile route to summit Blood Mountain from Vogel State Park. This adventure will have slighty more challenging climbs . We will do plenty of hiking mixed in with easy running and no runner will be left behind. Please see below for required gear - Runners you must bring your own water bottle or hydration pack, as well as a snack!
The route will take roughly 3 hours total which includes stopping for pictures, easing up the climbs, and enjoying the scenery.
Families are welcome to join the fun. If you’re not up for 8 miles, you can follow a shorter route than the runners will take - a 4 mi route which departs from nearby Byron Reece Trailhead:
